Traffic jams measuring 7km built up on the A-7 in Elche on Saturday morning when a refuse turned over on the motorway.
Emergency services reported that the accident occurred just after 10.00 at kilometre 518 of the highway, at the Aspe junction – a notorious accident blackspot.
